Satire (Issue 3)<\/p>\n<p>OUR ARMS ARE TROUBLED<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>by <\/strong><strong>Obodokasi Adehtem Agbor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Why do we take up cudgels and stones<br \/>\nat our legislator?<br \/>\nShould we not hang our chins in our palms and pity his troubles?<br \/>\na well-meant man who spoke with the voice of god<br \/>\nand made the Jewish promise<br \/>\nto reach Hades and bring Lucifer by his tail in three days,<br \/>\nbut as soon as he entered the country&#8217;s group chat<br \/>\nour sweet well-meant man developed amnesia.<\/p>\n<p>it is not his fault,<br \/>\nthe gentleman developed amnesia.<\/p>\n<p>Oh our dear executive,<br \/>\nwhy do we set up bonfires and laugh at his pains?<br \/>\nShould we not bath our faces in burnt ash<br \/>\nand weep at his woes?<br \/>\nHe has eaten our nation&#8217;s solid account,<br \/>\nour nation&#8217;s solid minerals<br \/>\nand other solids-without-names,<br \/>\neach time he goes hungry from commandeering us<br \/>\nhe pushes a slice of our sweet nation down his stomach.<br \/>\nyou should see him in the toilet with his lenses spread on his nose<br \/>\ntrying to push down strong solid minerals from the judge,<br \/>\nhe has exceeded all knowledge<br \/>\ntrying to spare our legislator of his forgetfulness,<br \/>\nbut every time, the amnesia grows and grows and causes dementia.<br \/>\nall morning he sits behind the gavel,<br \/>\nhoping to help the executive deliver the nation from his anus<br \/>\nbut each time he adjusts his gold rimmed spectacles to look<br \/>\na big lump of red
