I am a spoken word poet, teacher, Master of Ceremony and event planner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why spoken word?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is an avenue for me to let people know how I feel through my words. I am very vocal, I talk a lot but I don&#8217;t want to be tagged a talkative so, I have decided to use what people term a weakness to achieve greatness. I started spoken word officially in the year 2014 and I am glad I did. Spoken word is more like living in a dream that is a reality. I also intend to take spoken word poetry to the streets, the ghettos. Spoken word should not be meant for the elite audience alone. Additionally, I hope to make money from it, package myself, have a brand (a spoken word brand), perform at different shows, get paid, have endorsement and the likes. Spoken word can pay my bills and pay the bills of those who venture into it. I&#8217;m a spoken word poet. I live in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why spoken word?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For me, spoken word serves as a means to express myself. But more importantly, it&#8217;s a means to inspire people through my existence, letting them know that they can do more than already exists.<\/p>\n<p>Well, my father is a poet with tons and tons of unpublished poems, which I will publish or perform as a tribute to him someday.<\/p>\n<p>I love spoken word because it just opens my mind to infinite use of words and metaphors and the diverse universe.
