The contest is aimed at discovering extraordinary prose works decorated with the elements of poetry.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 6th edition of the Poetically Written Prose Contest opens for submission between 2nd July 2022 and 2nd August 2022. Writers across the globe are hereby invited to submit enchanting prose works embellished with poetic devices, in what is being tagged \u2013 \u201cPOETICALLY WRITTEN PROSE\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PRIZES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1st Prize \u2500 \u20a650,000<br>2nd Prize \u2500 \u20a630,000<br>3rd Prize \u2500 \u20a620,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. No specific theme, but submissions must be poetically written.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Word count: 300 \u2500 500 words<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. All entrants are expected to purchase the 5th edition of the Poetically Written Prose Anthology which goes for N1,000 only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. To purchase an anthology, entrants can use either of the below payment systems:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>i. Entrants automatically receive the anthology once they pay through this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poetsinnigeria.org.ng\/index.php\/product\/pwp-anthology\/\">link<\/a>:\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.poetsinnigeria.org.ng\/index.php\/product\/pwp-anthology\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.poetsinnigeria.org.ng\/index.php\/product\/pwp-anthology\/<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ii. All receipts of payment must be submitted alongside the entry.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Entries should be pasted on the body of the mail (attachments are not allowed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Submissions should be headlined: \u201cPOETICALLY WRITTEN PROSE\u201d and must not be used as the title of the submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Any submission without an independent title will be voided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. One entry per participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Submissions should include receipt of payment, a brief biography, photograph, and contact information (name, email address, and phone number)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. All entries must be original works of authors and NOT PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. Any submission found to have been previously published will be voided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEADLINE FOR SUB<\/strong>MISSION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All entries should be forwarded to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:glassdoornigeria@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">glassdoornigeria@gmail.com<\/a>, from 2nd July to 2nd August 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: Submission of an entry is an explicit approval for Glass Door Initiative to use any work as may deem appropriate.
