Glassdoor Initiative of Poets in Nigeria (PIN) has announced Similoluwa Taiwo, Jewo Oghenetega, and Olusoji Obebe as winners for the sixth edition of the 2022 Poetically Written Prose Contest at an event in commemoration of PIN @ 7 held on Sunday 30 October 2022 on Google Meet.
After a thorough judging process, Taiwo won the first prize with her entry titled “Daddy” while Oghenetega came 2nd with his entry titled “Hauwa”. The third place went to Obebe with his entry, “Dream.”
The prize winners will be awarded a total cash prize of N100,000, in the following order:
Ist Prize: N50,000
2nd Prize: N30,000
3rd Prize: N20,000
Also, winning entries will be published in a Poetically Written Prose anthology of poems in the next PIN Chapbook Series.
