PIN 10-DAY POETRY CHALLENGE 2017 – JANUARY EDITION
Following the astounding success recorded in the 2016 edition of the PIN 10-Day Poetry Challenge, Poets in Nigeria (PIN) is pleased to announce the Call for Submissions for the 2017 edition of the Poetry Challenge.
The Poetry Challenge whose objectives include inducing consistent and spontaneous creativity will take place between 15th and 24th of every month in the year 2017. 10 exceptional entries (selected monthly) will be published on PIN Facebook Page and may likely be featured in Blazing Hot, a column of the PIN Quarterly Journal.
Find below the guidelines:
- Theme: No specific theme, feel free to explore relevant subject matters.
- Entries must be freshly written and previously unpublished in any form.
- Each entrant is entitled to a single entry during the 10 days.
- Entries must be original intellectual property of the entrants.
- Submissions are welcome from all countries of the world.
- Submissions should be accompanied by entrant’s photograph, brief biography and contact information comprising full name, email address, postal address and phone number (in the body of the email).
- All submissions should be forwarded to [email protected] and tagged: “PIN 10-Day Poetry Challenge (January 2017)”.
- All entrants should subscribe to poetsinnigeria.org.ng for regular updates.
