I began writing each verse with depression weighing on the left-over parts that hold my bleeding heart. In my head, I could feel the echo of weary voices crying for help; so, being a humanist, I wrapped their voices in this poetry book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Daniel Singfuri Yohanna was born in the early 90s. He is a graduate of University of Maiduguri and the author of Heaven’s Gate and Other Poems. His works have appeared in Poemify magazine, Parousia Magazine, and Upwrite Magazine, Fifth Chinua Achebe Poetry/Essay Anthology, The Markas (International Anthology), and others. He has flair for satiric, erotic and gospel poetry.
